  • Sunshine 4 ALL will be Supporting St Vincent’s Hospital

We are excited to announce that St Vincent’s Hospital has agreed to display the first Sunshine 4 ALL quilts in early 2014.
Sunshine 4 ALL will be supporting St Vincent’s Hospital with funds raised from the auctioning of the quilts.  These funds will be directed towards upgrading the haematology/oncology ward at St Vincents Hospital.  Currently patients are treated in four-bed wards and this upgrade would include conversion to single rooms.
This upgrade will add to the good care that not only Simon but all patients receive by making their stay in hospital much easier and comfortable.
Thank you Professor Spigelman for giving Sunshine 4 ALL the opportunity to support other cancer patients and their families.
Keep the blocks coming in.  We will keep everyone updated on the launch of the display.
We are now more motivated than ever for Sunshine 4 ALL to make a difference and be part of the fight against cancer.

  • Sunshine 4 ALL Supports The Leukaemia Foundation

Sunshine 4 ALL is excited to announce that we will be supporting the wonderful work of the Leukaemia Foundation by directing funds raised from the Quilt Project.  The Leukaemia Foundation supports cancer research and provides practical support and advice to those with cancer and their families.  We have already experienced first hand the gentle and informed care that this amazing organisation provides and we are delighted to be part of it’s work in a meaningful way.

“Sunshine 4 ALL is such an exciting, positive project that will raise awareness as well as bring joy to the lives of people living with blood cancer. The community support we have already witnessed for this project is inspiring, even the staff are working on our own quilt blocks. We can’t wait to see how this project unfolds.

The Leukaemia Foundation is so proud that Simon chose to raise funds our Vision to Cure, Mission to Care. The Foundation invests in cutting edge research in the hopes of one day finding a cure. Until then we provide simple, practical support to lessen the impact of blood cancer on people’s lives. Funds raised through Sunshine 4 ALL will make a real, lasting impact on blood cancer.”
